“It’s incredible and impossible for me personally to be standing here,” stated John Hamm on CNN after receiving his first Emmy, for best actor in a drama series. Hundreds of Emmys were given to actors and actresses in different shows and movies that night on September 17, 2015.

But, even though this was the 67th Emmy Awards show, it was still different from all the past shows because new people received awards and got recognized.

Some of the winners for awards were the cast of “Game of Thrones” for best drama series, “Veep” for outstanding comedy series, and “The Voice” as best reality-competition program- to name a few.

However, not just casts won Emmys for TV shows. Individuals were recognized too said LA Times. Like Uzo Aduba as an amazing supporting actress in drama series, “Orange Is the New Black,” or Regina King who was in the limited series or movie “American Crime.”

Not just famous actors and actresses won Emmys, they also presented them to the winners! Actresses Tina Fey, Lady GaGa, and Amy Schumer presented. Also others like Jimmy Kimmel, LL Cool J, and Emma Roberts. There was a total of forty-two presenters throughout the show as shown on New York Times.

After the night was over, more than five hundred actors and actresses won an Emmy.
