“The Dana Point IlluminOcean is a 40 night holiday lighting event that features 22 sculptures, light tunnels and special effects,” according to Norm Khan the Production, Logistics & Operations operator IlluminOcean. “The visitors at IlluminOcean can view the lights and enjoy the event.”

“With over one mile of larger-than-life sea sculptures and moving light tunnels dotting the coastline, every step is sure to enchant, excite, and electrify your night.” stated @SOKA.com. The event starts Wednesday, November 26 at 5:00 P.M. and ends Friday, December 26 at 12:00 A.M.

“This wonderland by the sea features a brilliant spectacle of oversized lighting sculptures with over 225,000 LED lights, light tunnels stretching longer than a football field and over a dozen gigantic lighting sculptures —some so large, visitors can walk through and inside the belly of a glowing 40-foot Blue whale,” according to Dana Point Chamber of Commerce website.

“The lights combined with the shops and restaurants make the harbor a great place to take the family for a Christmas outing,” reported Tripadviser .com.
