“The Blood of Olympus” to be Released October 7th

The Blood of Olympus, the fifth and final book in the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan will be released to America on October 7th, 2014.

The Heroes of Olympus is a collection of five fantasy novels by American author Rick Riordan. The plot revolves around demigods, children of the Greek and Roman Olympians that secretly live in the modern era.

The cover was revealed on May 14, 2014. The first chapter, told from Jason Grace’s point of view, was available to read following a purchase of the short story, “The Staff of Serapis”, which was released in e-format May 20, 2014, according towww.usatoday.com.

Over 35 million copies of his Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, and Heroes of Olympus books are in print in the United States, and rights have been sold into more than 35 countries, according to rickriordan.com. He  is also the author of The 39 Clues: The Maze of Bones, another #1 New York Times bestseller.

Rick Riordan announced his tour dates for the final Heroes of Olympus book. The Blood of Olympus tour kicks off in Riordan’s new home town of Boston, MA on October 7 and makes its way across the country with stops in New York, Chicago, Austin, Boulder, and several other cities, reported www.hypable.com.
