Dolphin Tale 2 Movie Review: An Inspiring True Story

Dolphin Tale 2, which opened in the theaters on September 11, is an enchanting sequel to Dolphin Tale with a cast of Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick Jr, Ashley Judd, Nathan Gamble, Cozi Zuehlsdorff, and guest appearances of Bethany Hamilton, Cameron Boyce, and Carlos Gomez.

Inspired by the true story Dolphin Tale tells the story of a dolphin who was saved at the Mosquito Lagoon near the cape of Florida by Clearwater Marine. Winter was three months old and her tail was severely injured, resulting in her tail being amputated. She could not swim like she wanted to because it was hurting her spine and so she had to wear a prosthetic tail. See her for yourself at seewinter.com.

In Dolphin Tale 2, Mandy is perfectly fine, so there is no need for her to stay at Clearwater Marine Hospital. Winter’s friend Panama dies due to respiratory problems leaving Winter alone in the pool.

However , it is against the law to leave dolphins alone in a pool because of how social they are. But here is only one other female to put her with and that is Mandy. However So now the question bodes how Winter will be able to stay at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium if they are unable to find another female to keep her company.

The answer is a small dolphin named Hope. Hope was found near the same spot Winter was found and she’s a baby, so she has no mother to teach her how to properly swim. This gives her the opportunity to stay at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. To learn more you can go to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium website, seewinter.com.
