John Greens first novel, Looking For Alaska, was published in 2005. For it he won the annual Michael L. Printz Award from the American Library Association, (ALA) recognizing the year’s “best book written for teens, based entirely on its literary merit”. It also made the ALA’s annual list Top 10 Best Book for Young Adults. According to New York Times, about 150,000 copies, including e-books, of “The Fault in Our Stars” a novel by a writer named John Green, have been sold since it was published last month. The book is so popular, that they are starting to make a movie of The Fault in Our Stars which comes out on June 6 2014.
