“Wrecking Ball” has topped songs “Roar” and “Royals” with an overwhelming result of 161 votes according to the Matador Messenger poll. Though “Wrecking Ball” is not the most popular song, it’s most favored by the students of Bernardo’s most favorite song.
“It was much more of an emotional experience,” explained Miley Cyrus after her video for “Wrecking Ball” was released. She also stated to www.billboard.com that her video had more of a story behind it “If you look at my eyes, I look more sad than actually my voice sounds on the record.”
Cyrus also revealed that she was nervous to release her new song because she thought “there was all this anticipation and all this time to build up this one single,” according to www.eonline.com. She added that in her opinion, there was so much going on with her song “We Can’t Stop” Cyrus felt like she was really busy with everything that comes from releasing a new single that she didn’t think she could handle another song coming out so soon.
