Are you inviting your friends and family for a barbeque while fireworks burst with beautiful colors? Here are some very helpful arts and crafts that we have researched for you. We have also found some very delicious foods that are easy to make. We’ve got you all covered.

If you are looking for some sweet and cute treats to serve at your party, then these flavor filled snacks are perfect. They will take about 6-7 minutes to make.

Red, White & Yum: Patriotic Recipes for Independence Day

You will need:

-Bread

-Toaster

-Red Jam (flavor is optional)

-Bananas

– Butter knife

Straw Fireworks

This adorable craft looks so easy to make, and they are easy.You could make lots of these and put them in a vase. That would look cool! This will take two minutes at the most to create your own personal fireworks.

You will Need:

-Bendy straws

-Tape

-Blue and red paint

-Paper

                  Steps:

1. Get six bendy straws and tape them together with the tape in the shape of a small circle.

2.Bend the straws outward to make your firework stamp.

3. Dab your  homemade stamp into the blue paint and then the red.

4. Then put in the craft sticks. Pour in the lemonade ⅓ of the way full on top of the cranberry juice and freeze for two hours.

5. Get your plastic cups and pour cranberry ⅓ of the way then freeze for one hour. Softly stamp the paper with your firework stamp.

   July Pops

These little pops are really good for hot days. They also look really cute and are super easy to make. It will take a day to make, that includes freezing.

You will need:

-1 cup of cranberry juice

-1 cup of lemonade

-1 cup of blue Gatorade

-craft sticks

-plastic cups

 Steps:

  1. Get your plastic cups and pour cranberry ⅓ of the way then freeze for one hour.
  2. Then put in the craft sticks.
  3. Pour in the lemonade ⅓ of the way full on top of the cranberry juice and freeze for two hours.
  4. Pour the blue gatorade ⅓ of the way all the way to the top and freeze until it is solid.

      5. When ready to eat carefully take off the plastic cups.

 

Toilet paper roll fireworks 

There are lots of firework crafts on here, but that is what 4th of July is all about. These toilet paper roll fireworks are good for the environment because you are recycling used toilet paper rolls. These will take you a minute or two to make.

 

You will need:

-red paint

-blue paint

-used toilet paper roll

-scissors

-tape

  Steps:

  1. Grab the toilet paper roll and the scissors, start cutting slits into the toilet paper roll.
  2. Cut the toilet paper down one of the sides then roll it tightly together so it is skinnier. Then tape it together.
  3. Bend the slits you cut outwards.
  4. Lastly dip your toilet paper roll in blue paint then the red.

These drinks are a little tart and if you don’t like pop rocks then I suggest not to make these. These little drinks are good for when you are at the beach or park, but they are good anywhere really. They would take you about 5 minutes at the most.

You will need:

-a plate

-cups

-red soda

-blue pop rocks

-ice (optional)

-lemon juice

   Steps:

  1. Open your pop rocks bag and pour it onto a plate.
  2. Get you lemon juice and lightly dab it onto the rim of the cup.
  3. Turn the cup upside down and place the cup on to the pop rocks so it sticks.
  4. Lastly pour the red soda into the cup and put ice in if wanted.

 

Fourth of July Lanterns

The Fourth of July Lanterns will light up the dark sky. They are great when barbecuing at night. They are super festive as well. These will take you about a minute to make once you have the things you need.

You will need:

-Empty glass jars

-Small American flags

-Sand

-Battery operated small candles

     Steps:

  1. Get your jar and fill the jar ¼ of the way full with sand.
  2. Slide the flag off of the stick and place it into the sand in the jar.
  3. Grab your small fake candle and place it in the middle of the sand.
