Nason Thrilled at BYMS Choir Performance at PYLUSD District Festival

“I was thrilled at the performances of Thursday evening,” stated Mrs. Nason in a recent interview with the Matador Messenger about their performance.
All PYLUSD choirs performed at the “PYLUSD District Vocal Festival” at Vineyard Church from March 14th through 16th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, El Dorado, Yorba Linda, Tuffree Middle School, Yorba Linda Middle School and Elementary Honor Choirs performed on Tuesday March 14, 2017.
Bernardo Yorba Middle School allong with Linda Middle School, the PYLUSD Elementary Honor Choirs, Esperanza High School, and Yorba Linda High School all performed at Vineyard Church performed on the last night; Thursday, March 16,2017 from 7:00 pm til 9:00 pm.
“I felt it was one of the best for our area (remember, there are three nights of these performances: El Dorado HS and feeders night; Valencia HS and feeders night),” stated Mrs. Nason explaining how she felt the performances was.
Valencia High School, Valadez Middle School, Kramer Middle School and Elementary Honor Choirs performed on Wednesday March 15,2017 from 7:00 pm to 9:00.
“Every school showcased their choirs differently. Travis Ranch chose to have each choir perform one or two selections. Bernardo had the advanced choirs each do their own number(s), then do a combined number with all the Bernardo choirs. Yorba Linda HS had both their choirs do 5 numbers together. Esperanza showcased each choir, in the manner of Travis Ranch,” added Mrs. Nason.
“All choirs seemed well-prepared to give their performances,” added Mrs. Nason. The Elementary Honor Choirs kids were filled with energy and seemed to enjoy their own performance. For as many songs as BYMS performed, all the directors felt there was a good flow to the whole program.
